***SAFE 03/26/16*** HERO NEEDED! For anyone who ever assumes that rescues magically pull cats and have tons and tons of places to store them until a foster/adopter saunters into the picture, THINK AGAIN! Meet PLUM. Plum is a 12-month-old rockstar kitten who did have a rescue placement, but when that rescue placement fell through, he was bounced right back onto the kill list and tomorrow, his time is UP! Rescues cannot pull cats without legitimate, failsafe foster/adopters and the importance of backup placements cannot be overestimated. Plum has NO ONE right now and he could be the first cat taken to the euth room tomorrow, unless a FOSTER/ADOPTER is found for him TONIGHT!
