I am a female gray and white domestic sh mix. The shelter thinks I am about 8 YEARS old.
I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 02/23/2016 from NY 10459, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

Became very fractious when caudal abdomen palpated. O: BAR, MMs pale pink and dry, estimated 5-8% dehydrated, BCS 3/9 EENT: A few scratches and scabs in center of head, and just rostral to ears. But no discharge OU, AU, nose. H/L: NSR, NMA. Eupnic, quiet lung sounds. Abd: Soft abd but resists abdominal palpation. Bladder large but not turgid. M/S/I: Amb x4. UG: Female Survey R lateral radiograph to look for bladder stones: none seen. A: 1. Underweight 2. Dehydration – R/O pre-renal vs. renal dz 3. Discomfort on palpation of caudal abd – R/O true pain vs. needed to urinate (pt urinated when put into cage with litterbox) Short-term prognosis: Good Surgery status: Temporary waiver for dehydration P: 1. Keep in Medical overnight, monitor. Consider doing bloodwork tomorrow vs. sending to Holding. 2. LRS 150 ml SQ BID x3 days 1088

Reaction to touch: Plum began to head-butt the assessor’s hand, purr, and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: She allows the pickup and remains calm. Placement determination: Beginner Plum interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
