EENT: OU mild mucoserous ocular discharge, mild chemosis. Mild serous nasal discharge. Ears clean.
Oral Exam: Moderate tartar and gingivitis
PLN: No significant enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, Occasional sneeze. Lungs clear, eupnic.
ABD: Soft, non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: Female, no SS palpated
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal: Normal externally
Assessment:
1. URI – likely viral
2. Dental disease
Prognosis: Good
Plan:
1. Move to isolation
2. Do not start Abx at this time but monitor for progression of URI signs and start if indicated
3. Recommend dental cleaning and daily tooth brushing
SURGERY:
Temporary waiver due to URI.

ENRICHMENT NOTES:
Resting on bedding in middle of cage, soft eyes and body. Stood and came to the front on approach, sniffed hand between bars, ate offered treats. Stayed at the front when door opened, brief hesitation when first touched, then arched into pets, tail rubbed. Walked around cage and cheek-rubbed cage furnishings after door closed.
