I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 10/31/2016 from NY 10458, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

11/1/16 Suspected pregnancy. Pt was growling, hissing and swatting on my approach to cage. Examined in net – abdomen tense but smooth, no masses. Nipples are small. No sign of pregnancy. 1088

10/31/16 11:33 BASIC INFO Pink A1095339 is a dsh cat. She is being surrendered to the shelter because she was found running into a T-Mobile store in the Bronx. Finder placed in a box and brought Pink to ACCNYC. BEHAVIOR DURING INTAKE Pink allowed handling, collaring and photos.

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Pink looks neutral, lying down by the front when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Pink retreats towards the back, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Pink does not allow the stroke then swats (no claws) and hisses at the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: NH ONLY Pink is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. She is stressed in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
