PHOEBE – A1083934
Safe - 12-9-2016 Brooklyn
SAFE 12/9/16 From the foster home: Phoebe is the sweetest, most adaptable mama cat I’ve encountered. She made herself at home in my foster space instantly. No hiding, no apprehension. It was as if she’d lived there for years.
She loves to explore and find elevated places to perch and hang out so she can watch over her kids as they play, chirping at them as they frolic. She’ll get up frequently and walk over to me and head butt my leg, demanding attention in the former of chin scratches and petting, standing up and pawing my legs or flopping on my feet until she gets love. She LOVES being groomed with a wire bristle brush, turning into a purr-monster while she’s brushed.
She’s fine with being held when she’s in the mood, she’ll curl up in my arms and purr with her head on my shoulder or buried in my arm. If she’s not in the mood, she’ll still allow you to pick her up but after a minute she’ll start wiggling. She’ll occasionally sit on my lap and purr but then she gets excited and gets up to roll around and receive scratches and petting.

She’s not super playful, but I’ve never seen a nursing mom that was. I’m sure with her curious nature she’ll be very playful when she’s no longer nursing.
