MANHATTAN CENTER
Hello, my name is Percy. My animal id is #16751. I am a male orange tabby cat at the Manhattan Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 1 years 10 months old.
I came into the shelter as a owner surrender on 22-Dec-2017, with the surrender reason stated as poor match – behavior/temperament of existing pet.
Original Location: 10463
Percy is at risk for behavioral reasons. Percy is extremely stressed in the shelter environment, and does not currently tolerate petting or handling. For this reason we are seeking placement with a New Hope partner who can further assess Percy’s needs before placement in a home. Medically, we have no concerns for Percy, who presents as a healthy cat.
