PEONIES – A1088112
Gone - 9-9-2016 Brooklyn
***GONE 09/09/16*** PEONIES IS ADORABLE AND NEEDS A FOSTER OR ADOPTER TO LIVE PAST NOON TOMORROW! She’s just a tad over a year old and already SPAYED! She is basically healthy other than an old aural hematoma that’s resolving itself. She will need an EXPERIENCED new owner but other than that, this girl is ready to go to the first taker! Is it you??

09/03/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Peonies was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Reaction to assessor: Peonies was lying down at the back of the kennel with her tail at her side. Reaction when softly spoken to: Peonies slowly turns towards the assessor and slow blinks. Reaction to cage door opening: Peonies remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Peonies lowers her body and lip licks when the assessor extends his hand out. She shifts away and tries to avoid being touched. Peonies closes her eyes and starts to salivate when pet along her body. It takes a few minutes but she slowly builds confidence and approaches the front of the kennel. Her body becomes more relaxed as you pet her and she lightly rubs up for attention. Reaction to being picked up: Peonies is tense when held and struggles to be put down. Behavior Determination: Experience Peonies may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
