Subjective: Kitten is BARH
Observed Behavior – Immediately friendly, at front of cage, vocal, attention seeking. Allows all handling with minimal restraint. Curious, willing to explore environment, but able to focus back on people.
Evidence of Cruelty seen – no
Evidence of Trauma seen – no
T = NA
P = wnl
R = wnl
EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal or ocular discharge noted
Oral Exam: healthy deciduous dentition
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, flea dirt+, no live fleas seen, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal: not performed
Assessment: FeLV+, Underage/Underweight
Plan: Seek NH placement. Recheck CT in 6-7 mos. Keep in medical and monitor appetite (kitten does not appear to be eating on own).
Temporary waiver due to underage/underweight
