10/01/16 18:00 Pebbles is calm around strangers but is shy and takes about a week to get used to someone. She is good around kids but doesn’t really play with them. She has not been around other dogs but she does not like to be around other cats. She secludes herself and hides for long periods when other cats are around. Pebbles Scratches the bed and the couch. She does not like to be bathed and might scratch or struggle to get away. She tolerates very short periods of being held and generally rather not be picked up. Pebbles has a low level of activity. She tends to like to hide but does enjoy stuffed toys to be put into her kitty bed. She is kept indoors and uses the kitty litter well, she has had covered and uncovered litter boxes. She uses any kind of kitty litter. She has a had a sratch post made of carpet. She is fed a large amount of dry food once a day. Pebbles was very sweet and pushed out of her cage to explore during intake. She allows all handling but is a ittle squirmy when held.

Pebbles’ previous owner states that she is shy around strangers and takes about a week to get used to someone, but is calm around them. She is good around children, but isn’t very playful with them. She has not been around dogs, but the owner notes she does not like to be around other cats. She would seclude herself and hide for a long period of time when other cats are around. She tolerates short periods of being held, but generally prefers not to be picked up. Pebbles has a low activity level and tends to hide, but does enjoys toys and uses her litter box well. Reaction to assessor: Pebbles was lying down, calm and relaxed. Reaction when softly spoken to: Pebbles meows and approaches the front. Reaction to cage door opening: Pebbles lies back down and remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Pebbles arches her back, and starts to knead and purr. Reaction to being picked up: Pebbles remains calm and continues to purr lightly. Behavior Determination: Average Pebbles interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
