***SAFE 08/29/16*** GREEN-EYED LADY, LOVELY LADY!! PEBBLES is a SPAYED, 8 year young lass, who lost her home when her owner was evicted….and now she stands to lose her life!! PEBBLES is great with kids of all ages and has an AWESOME AVERAGE rating from the shelter!! Her owner said she was talkative and liked mouse and ball toys!! I am a spayed female gray domestic mh mix. The shelter thinks I am about 8 YEARS old.

I came in the shelter as a OWNER SUR on 08/11/2016 from NY 10470, owner surrender reason stated was OWN EVICT.

8/23/16 Sneezing, SND seen on rounds yesterday. Moved to isolation, start doxycycline 1 ml PO SID x10 days. 1088

08/11/16 12:34 Basic Info: Pebbles A1085011 is an 8year old spayed gray DMH feline who given as a gift & is being surrendered because her owner was evicted and is not allowed to keep her. She was last seen by a veterinarian in 2015 and currently has no known health issues/injuries. Socialization: Around strangers Pebbles is friendly/outgoing. She is very friendly with children of all ages and plays exuberantly with them. She has not been around other cats or dogs. She hasn’t bitten/scratched any person or animal. Behavior: Pebbles hasn’t been on a car ride. She isn’t bothered by the following: being picked up/held or with being placed into a carrier. She hasn’t been given a bath nor had her nails trimmed. She loves being brushed and is not bothered when disturbed while sleeping/resting. For a New Family to Know: Pebbles is described as friendly, affectionate, very playful, confident, assertive & talkative (at times) with a medium-very high activity level. When the owner is home she follows the owner around. She enjoys mouse & ball toys and is an indoor only cat that sleeps where ever. She was fed dry & wet Meow Mix 1-2x a day. She is uncovered litter box trained with clumping litter within. She doesn’t have a scratching post in the home. Intake Behavior: Pebbles allowed to be taken out of the carrier and placed inside of the kennel. She hissed and retreated to the back. She did not allow to be collared but was scanned(+) .Photos were taken inside of the kennel.

Pebbles’ previous owner reports she is friendly and outgoing with strangers. She is very friendly with children of all ages and plays exuberantly with them. She is not bothered when picked up, held, or placed in a carrier. She was best described as friendly, affectionate, very playful, confident, assertive, and talkative at times with a medium-high energy level. She tends to follow the owner around at home and enjoys playing with mouse and ball toys. Reaction to assessor: Pebbles was perched on top of her bed, calm and relaxed. Reaction when softly spoken to: Pebbles blinks softly. Reaction to cage door opening: Pebbles leans on her side and looks at the assessor. Reaction to touch: Pebbles was a bit hesitant, but she leans in for petting, begins to purr, and rolls over. When petting stops, she comes to the front and lightly head-butts. Reaction to being picked up: Pebbles remains calm and allows handling. Behavior Determination: Average Pebbles interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
