Eyes:Large amount of thick yellow mucus. Eyes sunken.

Oral Exam: No visible lesions. Pet has foaming saliva around mouth.

Preliminary Assessment:
Pet presented to MACC medical via ART. Pet was apparently dehydrated as skin tent stayed for an extended period of time. Eyes are sunken and covered in a thick yellow mucus. Snap test was negative for FIV/FeLv. Consulted with on call DVM. She advised IVC placement and and IVF rate of 25mL/hr, erythromycin topically to both eyes, and administer 0.25mL of Vitamin B-12 SQ. Add forti-flora to food daily if eating. CBC/Chem requested.
Placed 22g IVC to R cephalic vessel. Started IVFs at a rate of 25mL/hr. Administered Vit B-12 SQ. Blood drawn for CT = Negative, and CBC/Chem. Pet showed immediate interest in water and began drinking readily when provided.
Plan: Monitor overnight in Medical ISO. DVM to examine tomorrow morning. Pet needs full intake exam and tasks.
