PATRICK – A1077510
Safe - 6-30-2016 Brooklyn Rescue: Happy Homes Please honor your pledges: http://www.happyhomesinc.org/
**SAFE 06/30/16** PATRICK and SYLVESTER are handsome fellows who were brought to the ACC by someone who had been hoarding animals. They lived with other cats, a dog, kiddos, and some adults, so PATRICK definitely had the background to ace that behavioral evaluation with a nice AVERAGE rating. He is only thought to be about 4 years of age, is already neutered and should make a perfect best friend for some lucky person or family. And check these out! “A volunteer writes: When I first heard Patrick, I thought that someone had put a parrot in the cat room by mistake. Then I saw who it was that was squawking, “wha, wha, wha.” He kept it up for some time, even while having his neck and chin rubbed and eating a few dishes of Friskies, which he absolutely adores! He looked so funny, too, just standing there with his ears out, looking all the world like an airplane. “Oh, Patrick,” I warned, “that isn’t the way to get yourself noticed. You have to mew and purr like a sweet kitty, not squawk like a bird.” But as it turns out, Patrick had an ear problem, and once the veterinarian cleaned his ears and gave him some medicine, he calmed down and took a lovely kitty nap, just like all the others. Now he’s just a regular cat, though I do believe that his meow still sounds a bit squawky.” Please advocate relentlessly for PATRICK tonight!
