Papaya A1109883 – 7 week male gray kitten, OS:
Owner stated that Papaya was bred at home. Owner also stated that they noticed something wrong when the other kittens in the litter statred to walk and Papaya never did. The owner assumed that over time it might get better but they stated that it has gotten worse over the past week. The kitten is unable to walk or hold its head up.

MEDICAL:
DVM Intake Exam
Male intact
Estimated age: 5 weeks
Microchip noted on Intake? negative
History : Owner surrender cannot coordinate.
Subjective: Cerebellar hypoplasia suspect. No coordination.
Observed Behavior – Anxious vocalize
Evidence of Cruelty seen – None
Evidence of Trauma seen – None
Objective
P = 200 bpm BCS 4/9
EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted
Oral Exam: NAF
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: intact male
MSI: Ambulatory on the forelimbs, Hindlimb non ambulatory. skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
