***GONE 09/08/16 *** PANDORA LIKES TO PATROL!! ….”She enjoys walking around her house “as if she’s patrolling”…..PANDORA is three and was surrendered for ALLERGIES (yada, yada). She is a true sweetheart who lived with another cat and got along with everyone….She should be in the ACC adoptions room, but they gave her their cold and now she is on the list. PANDORA is a great companion cat!! According to legend, when PANDORA opened the box, all the evils flew out but the thing that remained was HOPE. WE “HOPE” SOMEONE WILL APPLY TO FOSTER OR ADOPT HER TONIGHT!!

08/27/16 12:35 Pandora was surrendered due to severe allergies of owner. Pandora had been with them since she was a kitten, for about three years. She is friendly around strangers and will play gently around adults. She has never been around children. She lived with another female cat around her age. The two would play gently together. She has never lived with dogs or any other animal. She does not have a bite history. Pandora will sometimes scratch doors inside the house. In the car, she might meow a little bit is generally relaxed. She has never had a bath or had her nails trimmed but enjoys being brushed and held. She tolerates being put in a carrier. Her previous owner described her as friendly, affectionate, and curious. She enjoys walking around her house “as if she’s patrolling”. She has been indoors only, will eat wet and dry food, uses a covered litter box, and has used all types of litter.

Pandora’s previous owner reports she is friendly around strangers and will play gently with adults. She has never been around children, but has lived with another female cat and plays gently with this cat. She enjoys being brushed and held, and tolerates being placed in a carrier. She was described as friendly, affectionate, and curious. Reaction to assessor: Pandora was underneath her blanket when approached. Reaction when softly spoken to: Pandora sticks her head out slightly, and then blinks softly. Reaction to cage door opening: Pandora remains motionless, but looks around. Reaction to touch: Pandora keeps a low body when her blanket was removed, but accepts petting and lifts her rear when pet on her lower back. She appears shy and unsure initially, but seems to appreciate attention and will roll over and purr. Reaction to being picked up: Pandora’s body is a bit tense, but she nuzzles against the assessor. Behavior Determination: Experienced Pandora tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. She may need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
