SAFE 2/28/16 A volunteer writes: Nyla is a gorgeous tortie with beautiful coloring. She is a sweetheart, coming to greet you, loving your attention. Head butting you for more head rubs, rolling on her side. She relishes in your chin rubs, closing her eyes in enjoyment. Come check out this amazing lady, you will fall in love with her and find how affectionate she is.
Another volunteer writes: This mature kitty is lovely in looks and in spirit. When you meet Nyla, you just want to cuddle with her, touch noses and whisper sweet nothings in her ear. Fortunately, she is amenable to that kind of interaction, so you can easily imagine passing the rest of your days with her in your life. Now then, you and Nyla will get along marvelously, as long as there are no other kitties for her to have to get along with. Her former owners note that she would be best as an only kitty. That way, it’s just you and Nyla, best friends forever.

Placement determination: Average
Nyla interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. She has no known history of behavioral problems; however, we advise potential adopters that Nyla may try to scratch on furniture and carpets so we recommend adopters be comfortable with this and/or willing to provide guidance to Nyla about appropriate scratching spots. Nyla may also be timid around children so adopters should be prepared to manage interactions with children and to help children understand how to appropriately interact with cats.
Nyla is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
