I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 11/22/2016 from NY 11212, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

11/22/16 14:07 Upon intake Nuzzles was relaxed and greeted cousnelor at the front of the carrier. Cousnelor was able to scan (negative), collar and photograph. He was receptive to petting and nuzzled cousnelors hand. Finder stated Nuzzles eats dry and wet food Friskies brand. Nuzzles was brought into finders home for a few days. He is not litterbox trained and will defecate outside the box daily. He spent time with children ages five and above and would allow them to pet him.

11/25/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – BEGINNER
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Nuzzles was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. Reaction to assessor: Nuzzles is very vocal at the front of the kennel as he rolls around playfully. Reaction when softly spoken to: Nuzzles reaches out towards the assessor with paws then gently head butts the kennel door. Reaction to cage door opening: Nuzzles is calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Nuzzles meows softly when first pet then purrs softly when rubbed along his body. He seems very sweet, brushes up for contact, gives light head butts and is very affectionate. Reaction to being picked up: Nuzzles is calm, relaxed and nuzzles up in the assessor’s arms. Behavior Determination: Beginner Nuzzles interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat can go to a beginner home.
