10/28/16 13:14 When strangers come to her his home Nino hides and is slightly fearful. He has not lived with children but has been around them and he is gentle and sometimes playful. Nino has not been around other animals. Nino does scratch on furniture but does not use the bathroom around the house. He is relaxed during car rides.He is not bothered getting his nails trimmed. He enjoys being held or picked. and is not bothered by being put into a carrier. Nino is friendly, independent and quiet. He has a medium to high level of activity. He likes to wait at the door when home, that is his prefered place to stay.He enjoys stuffed toys. He sleeps on a linen put on the floor. he uses the litter box well and has auncovered litter box. He uses clumping and crystals litter. He scratches on furniture or drapes. He eats dry food once a day. Nino is nervous during intake and shrinks into a ball but allows handling and to be picked up.

Former owner stated when strangers come over Nino hides and is slightly fearful. He has not lived with children, but has been around them and he is gentle and sometimes playful. Nino has not been around other animals. Also, described as friendly, independent and quiet with a medium to high level of activity. Reaction to assessor: Nino seems shy, crouched position at the back of the cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Nino remains stiff in place, tense body posture, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Nino accepts the stroke then began to lip lick in place, but during the touch he seems to enjoy chin rubs. Placement determination: Experience Nino tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
