Resting on bedding, soft eyes and body, seemed a little depressed. Lay in place when door opened, eyes became dilated. Leaned slightly into pets, some lip licking.

7/31/18
Crouched position on the cage bedding, soft body, eyes wide open, lip licking in place. Slowly leans in for pets, purrs and rolls on his side enjoying the attention.

8/1/18
Resting in litter box, head down, eyes a little dilated. Raised head when door opened. Allowed, slightly leaned into pets, some lip licking. No other response.

Nenie remains neutral, resting in his litter box during the approach.

Nenie become alert with normal shape eyes.

Nenie remains in place, soft body, relaxed ears and forward.

Nenie lip licks at first, then slowly began to lean in for pets. He purrs throughout the interaction and began to roll over appreciating the attention.

He becomes antsy then jumps back into the cage.

Chucky is a 10 year old orange and white male neutered domestic short haired cat. Owner had him for 10 years and got him as a gift. He was surrendered because of the owner’s landlord issues.

Chucky lived with a 13 year old female altered domestic short haired cat. Chucky was playful and respectful around her.

Chucky has not been around dogs, his behaviour is unknown.

Chucky will hide in fear if he sees new people. Chucky enjoys and will sleep during car rides. Chucky will tolerate baths but will jump out after a while.

Chucky will follow you around when inside the home. Chucky enjoys playing with balls and string toys.
Chucky has been kept indoors only and will sleep on a carpet or inside a box.
He enjoys dry cat food from the friskies brand.

Behavior Notes:

Upon intake, chucky was lip licking and maintained a very low body. He tried to flee off the backdrop a few times and was grabbing onto things when being picked up. He allowed me to take a photo, collar him and place him into the kennel. allowed all handling.
