SAFE 9/30/17 Poor Nebula is a sweet purring stray boy who is only 4 yrs old. He is FIV+ but has ulcerated lesions on his eyes and face! He also has severe dental disease. The lesions could possibly be from burns – but further medical is needed. Please help this sweet kitty today.

Medical Summary DVM Intake Exam Estimated age: 2-5 years Microchip noted on Intake? n History : stray Subjective: severe facial lesions esp ulceration of left eye and ulcers of nose. Severe gum disease,.sneezing. Poor BCS, dry coat, dandruff. FIV+ Observed Behavior – purring Evidence of Cruelty seen – possible Evidence of Trauma seen – possible Objective P = 100 R = stertor BCS 3/9 EENT: OS severe ulceration Oral Exam: severe gum disease PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, stertor, upper airway noise ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: intact male MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, dry coat. ulcerative lesion of muzzle, nares CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment: Fiv+, severe ulerative lesion of eyes and face, alopecia. cannot rule out concurrent calici Plan: gave convenia 0.35ml, onsior 0.35 simbadol 0.45ml sq Prognosis: guarded although the FIV may noy be he cause of his lesion, it likely is making them worse, especially the dental disease. if his lesions heal rapidly, prognosis improves and trauma (burns–thermal or chemical) is more likely. SURGERY: Temporary waiver due to injury
