Observed Behavior – QARH. Started lip licking with wide eyes on approach, would not come to front of cage; allowed all handling. Hissed once after exam
Evidence of Cruelty seen – No

EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted
Oral Exam: Teeth clean, mimimal gingivitis, pink mm
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: Female
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Assessment: Geriatric
Plan: Continue to monitor while at BACC
Prognosis: Good
SURGERY: Will be permanently waived due to age if no spay scar is found
Hx: The patient is stable. Needed rabies vaccine.

Basic Info
Mya A1110236 is a 10 yrs. old, female DMH. Mya was surrendered due to moving. Mya has never suffered any medical issues or injuries. Mya has never visited the vet.
Socialization
Around strangers Mya initially is a bit shy. When an unknown person approaches the home she will hide until she feels comfortable enough. Then she will approach to smell the person. Mya has lived in a home with children. Around children she is affectionate and playful. She loves all children, sometimes more than adults. Mya has never been exposed to any cats or dogs.
Behavior
Mya has never bitten anyone or animal. Mya isn’t bothered by the following: being picked up or held, being brushed or groomed , loud sounds or sudden movements, being awaken out of sleep. Mya is fully litter box trained with no record of accidents.
For a new family to know
Mya is described as playful and affectionate. Mya was fed both wet and dry food 2x times a day. Mya isn’t very reactive towards toys. Mya will follow the previous owner around the house. Mya would be best in a family home with children and a lot of activity.
Upon intake
Upon intake Mya was timid and alert. Mya allowed handling. Scanned negative.
