Basic Information: Muchi is an 8 year old Spayed Gray DSH. Her owner received her as a gift from a family friend when she was a kitten. The owner needs to surrender muchi because he is moving and will not be able to take her with him. Muchi has no known health issues or injuries, and has not seen a vet recently.
Socialization: When approach by strangers Muchi is shy at first, she will hide or leave the area for a few minutes. Muchi has lived with children age 5; she is respectful, relaxed, and respectful with the child. When playing with adults or children Muchi is gentle. She has no history of living with other animals, and has no bite history.
Behavior: Muchi is known to scratch on to furniture, but will retrieve to her scratching post; she is house trained. During a car ride Muchi will meow/cry at first, and will calm down after a while. When given a bath Muchi struggles, hisses and swats. She becomes afraid when getting her nails trimmed; she will struggle to get out of your arms. She enjoys having her coat brushed, being held, but becomes afraid when being placed inside of the carrier. Muchi isn’t bothered if disturbed while sleeping.
For New Family to Know: Muci’s owner describes her as friendly, affectionate, and playful. Her activity level is a medium; and when in the home she likes to follow you around and sit on your lap, Muchi favorite toys are stuffed mouse toy and string toys. She is kept mostly indoors; she sleeps in her cat bed and sometimes in her owner’s bed. She eats both dry/wet food twice a day, uses a uncovered litter box. Muchi has a scratching post that is made out of carpet material.
