Small lesion on lip, reported loose stool. Resting on shelf, soft eyes and body, looking around. Leaned forward to sniff hand when door opened, then stood and leaned into pets. Grumbled once during interaction, hissed when door closed. Seemed unsure of room noise. Sprayed thunderease.

Resting on shelf, soft eyes and body, looking around. Stood and came forward when door opened. Head-butted treats out of my hand. Leaned and arched into pets, purred. Rubbed against the bars after door closed, ate offered treats, lay down again.

Mr Shadow is a male orange and white tabby that is estimated to be 8 years old. His previous owner got him as a gift from a friend and stayed with them for the last 8 years until family members began to suffer from allergies.

Behavior Notes
Mr. Shadow tends to scratch at furniture even if his nails are trimmed or has a scratching post. He does not enjoy car rides and will meow and cry most of the time. He does not like being bathed he tries to run away and hide if he sees the door open. He enjoys being brushed, picked up and held. He doesn’t mind being put into carriers and at times is willing to stand still for for trimming his nails.

For a New Family to Know
Mr. Shadow is an affectionate and lazy cat that enjoys lounging around all day and sleeping. If hes in the same room he will come next to you and sit on your lap. He will follow you around the house if its getting close to feeding time. He enjoys stuffed toys with catnip and only uses then every once in a while. He is used to eating dry food and being indoors all day. He is very litter box trained and uses a covered litter box. He does like to use a vertical rope scratching post but will also scratch on furniture at times.
Behavior Notes:
Mr. Shadow was very loose bodied during intake when i opened the carrier he was giving me head butts and put his paws on my shoulders and rubbed his head against mine he was rolling over when i scratched his ears and was purring very loudly.
