09/03/17 14:25 Basic Information: Mr. Kitty is a male cat who was surrendered due to his previous owner moving to a place that doesn’t allow pets and not being able to find him a new home. Socialization: Around strangers Mr. Kitty is shy for a few minutes and then warms up. Mr. Kitty plays gently and has never been around children, dogs or cats so it is unknown how he will react to being around them. Behavior: Mr. Kitty has never bitten another person or animal and has not shown any concerning behavior while at home. Mr. Kitty is quiet when riding in a car and is not bothered by being given a bath, having his nails trimmed, or being disturbed while resting/sleeping. Mr. Kitty will struggle when being picked up/held and being placed in a carrier. Mr. Kitty enjoys being brushed. For a New family to Know: Mr. Kitty is described as friendly, affectionate, playful and talkative with a medium activity level. When at home Mr. Kitty will follow around his owner and doesn’t play with toys. Mr. Kitty was kept indoors only and eats both wet and dry food. Mr. Kitty is litter box trained and used and uncovered litter box with clumping litter. Mr. Kitty did not use a scratching post and did not scratch on anything at home. Intake Behavior: Mr. Kitty allowed staff to collar, scan for a microchip and take pictures with no signs of aggression. Mr. Kitty had a loose body and was curious about his surrounding during intake.

Reaction to touch: Mr. Kitty allows all petting and remains in place. He lifts his head up very gently after a moment, but blinks softly and places his head back down to rest.
