01/19/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Monroe does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: Monroe does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: Monroe remains motionless Reaction to touch: Monroe became tense with her ears back. Try picking cat up: Did not attempt due to Monroe being fearful Behavior Determination: Experience At the time of the assessment Monroe was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer. I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children. 1/21 note: Monroe is not thriving in the busy shelter environment and avoids interaction with her human caretakers. Due to her stress level we feel it is in Monroe’s best interest to move into a stable home environment as quickly as possible.
