Profile
Socialization
Monee is friendly around strangers but may be shy for the first few minutes. She has lived with a 6 year old in her home and she got along well with her and us gentle but not playful. She has never been around other cats or dogs. She has never bitten another person or animal.
Behavior
Monee scratches on furniture, walls, wood, couches and beds. She has accidents outside the litterbox often but only defecates. She is frightened by loud noises and will hide if she hears them. She uses the bathroom outside the litterbox daily, she only poops outside of the litterbox and she has seen a vet for this. She has never been bathed before. She is not bothered by having her nails trimmed or being brushed. She struggles when being held, picked up or placed into a carrier.
New Family
Monee is friendly and affectionate and has a low level of activity at home. She rarely seeks attention but does not hide. She is kept indoors only. She is fed meow mix dry food twice a day. She is not litter box trained and has a hooded litter box with fresh step scented litter. She has a scratch post that is made of rough rope and twine that she uses sometimes.
Intake
Monee approached councilor and headbutt councilors hand and allowed all handling but growls when in the cage but still allows handling.
