MOLLY – A1063299
Safe - 1-30-2016 Manhattan Rescue: HVARS Please honor your pledges: http://www.hvars.org/
*** SAFE 01/30/16 *** MOLLY is a frightened 7-year-old girl who wound up at the shelter as a stray, shortly before NYC turned into a real live snow globe. Now that the shelter is running again, they wasted no time in deciding to kill this gorgeous tabby. Molly impressed one of the staff members enough that she actually has staff comments! “A staff member writes: Molly is a middle-aged girl who is ready to finally settle down. She’s quite a looker with her big green eyes and her beautiful ticked and striped tabby coat. She’s a bit nervous about being at the care center, and would love a quiet and calm home with no children where she can spend her time relaxing and finally getting to be who she really is. Once she’s comfortable, we think Molly will be a wonderful companion.” Please do everything possible to find a foster/adopter for MOLLY, tonight!

01/23/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Molly looks tense in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Molly remains crouched position at the back of the cage, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Molly hisses at first and attempts to swat at the assessor’s hand, but once touched she stiffens up in place with head down. Placement determination: Experience / no child Molly tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
