MIX MATCH – A1061647
Safe - 1-3-2016 Manhattan Rescue: HVARS Please honor your pledges: http://www.hvars.org/
**SAFE 01/03/16** HEARTBREAK ALERT! The first euth list of 2016 includes MIX MATCH and SIGGIE, two BEGINNER-rated lovebugs who were brought into the shelter when their former owner passed away. MIX MATCH and SIGGIE both slept on the bed with their former owner, and one can easily imagine these two purrrring away into the night. Both cats are SENIORS, which just compounds the heartbreak factor exponentially, and both cats could use a check-up from a vet. These are the cats you will go to sleep thinking about; these are the cats you will check on first tomorrow morning. Unfortunately, these might also be the first two cats KILLED in the new year unless a FOSTER or ADOPTER is found for them, tonight!

12/28/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
12/28/15 15:25 Mix Match A1061647 is an 10yr old female Tortie feline who was brought in due to her owner passing away. The family member isn’t able to keep her. Mix Match is described as an eager eater who becomes extra friendly and affectionate when she’s hungry. She doesn’t use the litter box too often and will sleep on the bed with you. It is unknown when her last veterinary visit was and she’s currently experiencing some abdominal swelling/tenderness. During intake Mix Match allowed all handling. She allowed to be scanned (-), collared & taken pictures of even though she attempted to run off of our back drop during her photo session. Mix Match didn’t seem to mind being picked up/held and was placed into a kennel with ease where she began to eat mainly her canned cat food.
