When you hold her she just melts in your arms! When you come by Mittens’ kennel, she invites you in. Once you go over, she has you in her spell. Mittens LOVES treats. Don’t let the number fool you, Mittens knows what she wants. That is, to be back in a forever home with her forever human! Subjective: Meowed and walked out of carrier when door was opened. Leaned into body scratches. Allowed all handling but growled a few times. Objective BCS 7/9, MMs pink and moist EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: Moderate tartar PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Tense and distended. Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: Female. Reported spayed. MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted. Seborrhea sicca. CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment: 1. Overweight/distended abdomen – R/O metabolic disease vs. neoplasia vs. just overweight vs. other 2.
