Observed Behavior – cat walked out of carrier on own, but allowed minimal handling before swatting with claws out. Aggression seems to be associated with overstimulation. Able to do brief exam while assistant enticed cat with food. Had to complete treatments in net. Scheduled for MC and CT during neuter sx.

Oral Exam: Unable to examine
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Unable to palpate
U/G: male intact, both testicles descended
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal: Not performed
Assessment: Apparently healthy
Prognosis:
Excellent
Plan: Acceptable candidate for adoption or rescue pending behavior evaluation. Cat ate Gabapentin in food on intake. Complete CT and MC at time of neuter.
