02/24/17 19:31 Basic Info Missy is a 6 year old DSH whose owners were displaced from their home and so could no longer care for her. She has been with the same owners her entire. She has never seen a vet before. Socialization Missy is an observative cat but allows strangers to approach her and has interacted with children of all ages. She will excuse herself when she has had enough attention. She is gentle when she plays. She shared a home with two other cats but she did not interact with them and avoids them completely. Missy shared a home with a pit bull that she was relaxed around once they got used to one another. She usually ignored him. She has also shared a home with fish that she liked to sit and stare at. She has never bitten a person or animal before. Behavior Missy does not scratch on furniture and uses the litter box really well. She is relaxed during car rides. She is not bothered by being bathed, brushed or having her nails trimmed. She is not bothered by being picked up or placed into a carrier. She does not like to be touched below her hip area or on her hind legs, she may hiss or swat. New Family Missy has a medium level of activity at home and follows owners around the house. She likes to play with plastic bags that are made into balls by owner. She is kept solely indoors. She likes to sleep on the bed. She is fed purina dry food twice a day, she eats seperately from the other two cats in the home, she her food and water are in a seperate room. She has no litter box accidents. She has an uncovered litter box that only she uses and will not use if another cat has used it. She uses fresh step litter. She also has her own horizontal scratch post. Intake Behavior Missy was timid and required a slow approach but allowed all handling but runs to back of cage to avoid handling.
