TWO VIDEOS – WATCH HERE! Mimi is a wonderful older lady who came to ACC after her previous owner became too ill to care for her any longer. This mellow sweetheart loves to be scratched under her chin and would just love a lap to lounge on for the rest of her days.

Profile:
Basic Info:
Mimi A1113018 is a 17yr old spayed brown tabby DSH feline who was purchased at a pet store 17yrs ago & is being surrendered due to an owner in the home being ill. Mimi’s last veterinarian visit was about 14yrs ago and currently has no known health issues/injuries but does have a matted coat.
Socialization:
Around strangers Mimi is friendly/outgoing or will hide. She hasn’t been around other animals or children (besides the one she “raised” who is now a young adult) and was gentle, relaxed, playful & affectionate with the adults in the home. Mimi hasn’t bitten/scratched any person or animal.
Behavior:
During car rides Mimi will meow or be quiet. She isn’t bothered by the following: being picked up/held (but if you pet/hold her too much long she’ll bite your hand (without pressure or wounds), brushed or with being placed into a carrier. She hasn’t been given a bath since she was a kitten, had her nails trimmed nor has she been disturbed while sleeping/resting.
For a New Family to Know:
Mimi is described as friendly, affectionate, confident & quiet with a low-medium activity level. When the owner is home Mimi follows them around. She used to enjoy ball & mouse toys but now enjoys lounging and is an indoor only cat that sleeps around the home, eats dry & canned Friskies 1-3x a day, is uncovered litter box trained with crystal or clumping litter within and used to have a scratching post that she didn’t always use and scratches (at times).
Intake Behavior:
Mimi had a soft body, eyes and allowed all handling. She allowed to be scanned (-), collared & have her picture taken. Mimi didn’t seem to mind being picked up/held and was placed into a kennel with ease.
