How is this cat around strangers?
Around strangers Mimi is described as shy at first but friendly. When strangers come into the home , she would initially stay to herself. After some time Mimi would get closer to the unknown person for sniffing and then go back into her space. The previous owner stated that Mimi isn’t completely comfortable around strangers until they have visited the home a couple times. Around the 2nd or 3rd visit to the home, she walks up to the guest to rubbing. When she wants the attention of the guest she will meow at their feet.

Behavior Notes
Mimi allows to be picked up & held by the household members. She also enjoys to be pet & scratched. Mimi isn’t bothered by loud sounds or sudden movements. Mimi does NOT like getting baths. During baths she will hiss & quickly run away. Mimi will allow to be brushed. Mimi likes going into her soft carrier.

Mimi is described as relaxed, sweet and quiet. While in the home Mimi likes to stay in her corner with her toys. Her favorite toys are stuffed mice. She will chase them around all day. Mimi in mainly indoor however she did like going in the roof. The owner stated that Mimi would scratch at the window when she wanted to go on the roof. She usually stayed on the roof for about 2-4 hours a couple of times a week. Mimi was fed both wet & dry foods mixed together 2x a day. Mimi is fully litter box trained and uses a covered litter box lined with clay litter.
Behavior Notes:
Upon intake Mimi allowed to be removed from her soft carrier. Mimi then allowed to be collared , scanned,photographed,and caged. Mimi enjoy being scratched on the chin. Mimi scanned negative for a microchip.
ENRICHMENT NOTES:

At the front of the kennel, rubbing against the door. Purrs and reaches out with soft paws. Steps out kennel when the door opens. Very curious of her surroundings. Eyes widen, pupils dilate. Accepts petting, but is hyper focused on her surroundings. Vocalizes when picked up, tolerates handling.
