Finder cannot keep as they have a dog. Finder placed Milton in a carrier and brought him to ACCNYC. BEHAVIOR DURING INTAKE Milton allowed all handling, collaring and photos.

A volunteer writes: Hello my name is Milton, I am a young one year old kitty. A volunteer who spent some time with me tells me I have a gorgeous jet black coat with big golden eyes. I’ve never been more flattered! I’m a bit of a reserved cat, but that doesn’t mean I don’t love to be loved. A nice scratch behind my ear and rubs on the top of my head and chin are my favorites. They makes me so content, I slowly close my eyes and drift off into dreams. How lovely would it be to have a home and person of my very own to do that everyday! Would you like to be my person? Let’s meet each other at the Manhattan Care Center today!

Reaction to door opening: Milton remains in place, alert with soft eyes, head slightly lowered and tucked in body. Reaction to touch: Milton accepts the stroke, lip licks in place and shows no interest with the touch. Placement determination: Experience Milton tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
