ACTIVITY LEVEL: Laid back VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Shy, Sweet MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: 6/14/17- Observed Behavior – vocal, allows exam ENRICHMENT NOTES: 6/15/17 Resting in cubby, a little tense. Alert, though eyes not dilated. Sat up and pressed against back wall when door opened. Allowed and slightly leaned into pets, but remained wary. EVALUATION: Cage Condition: Cage is neat Reaction to assessor: Michy looks neutral, lying down on her cage bedding during the approach. Reaction to cage door opening: Michy remains soft body, alert with soft eyes. Reaction to touch: Michy stands with tail up, leans into the assessor, purrs, and appreciates the petting. Reaction to being picked up: She becomes antsy then jumps back into the cage. BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Average Michy interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
