I came in the shelter as a OWNER SUR on 06/25/2016 from NY 11220, owner surrender reason stated was HOARDING. I came in with Group/Litter #K16-061482.

07/07/16 13:47 very depressed, holding head down against floor of cage (thiamine deficiency vs just depressed) dehydrated–increased skin tent rx nutrical and lrs sq 07/06/16 15:30 not eating rx cyproheptadine x 3 d 7/5/16 S-sneezing and congestion noted on rounds O-BAR, pink mm, CRT< 2 hydrated EENT-CAU, COU, no nasal d/c, sneezing and congested sounding A-7 mo F DSH 1. URI P-move to iso doxycycline 50 mg/ml-0.6 ml PO SID x 10 days vet check in 7 and 10 days prognosis good with treatment 06/29/16 16:36 healed fracture/defect of tail at midtail. ha healed at a right angle. no treatment needed Congential defect vs broken tail–On a vet check to confirm. Mia’s former owner stated she has lived with cats and dogs. All the cat’s got along well. The dogs would just ignore the cats. Also, loves to play and enjoys petting. Reaction to assessor: Kori looks neutral in the cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Kori remains sitting upright at the front of the cage, relaxed body posture, alert with soft eyes. Reaction to touch: Kori leans into the assessor’s hand, but becomes focus on wanting to explore outside of her cage. Reaction to Being Picked up: She becomes antsy then jumps back into the cage. Placement determination: Average Kori interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
