11/21/16 14:49 Finder stated that Meow Meow was coming around for a few weeks and became more and more friendly with her. FInder stated that Meow Meow would rub against finders legs and solicit attention. Finder did state that Meow Meow struggled to get away when being placed into a carrier. Behavior during intake: Meow Meow was at the front of the carrier meowing during intake and rubbing his head against the carrier. I was able to scan for a mc, collar and take a picture without any issues.

Owner Profile: Meow Meow was bought into the care center by his previous owner because he is leaving the country. Meow meow has lived with one child and will hiss at the child when he played to roughly with him. Meow Meow was not exposed to other animals so his behavior is unknown towards them. He is litter box trained. Notes: Meow Meow at the time of the assessment he was displaying friendly behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. S: recheck otitis externa and alopecia O: BAR decreased skin turgor AU- mild waxy debris, a few 1-2 mm pigmented masses no murmur, regular rhythm lungs clear and eupneic abdomen- snp BCS 6/9 with some dorsal muscle wasting MN thin coat at caudodorsum, skin appears normal A: otitis externa- improving pigmented masses AU weight loss- R/O Gi disease vs endocrine disease vs renal disease vs other hair loss at caudodorsum- seems improved P: recommend bloodwork: chemistry sample did not run correctly, will try again tomorrow monitor weight, recheck weight in 1 week
