Lying in back of kennel, body low and head lowered onto floor. Tail is wrapped around body. He sniffs my hand hesitantly and tolerates petting along his head and body, ears tilting slightly. He eats the tuna gogurt I place by him, then licks it off my finger. Tolerates further petting while lowering head back down, body slightly tensed. Needs some more time to adjust.
09/01/17
Lying down underneath his kuranda bed, low body posture. Turns towards me when I softly call his name, makes eye contact. Appears a little wary of his surroundings. He sniffs my hand, then gently nudges me and leans in for attention. Body feels a bit tense when pet. Slowly warms up with attention, begins purring & gives head butts. He slowly approaches the front, tail at body level, scans surroundings. Doesn’t mind being picked up, remains calm in my arms. Doing well!
