SAFE 6/27/17 Meet Luscious and Maxi: These adorable kittens are not littermates, but they both need placement by 6pm today. Luscious is a gorgeous orange tabby with URI and conjunctivitis who hasn’t gotten the hang of eating on his own yet. Maxi is a stunning tuxedo gal who also needs assistance eating and is intermittently non-weight bearing on her left hind leg. Please help these tiny tots today!

QAR, allows handling
mm pk, tacky; deciduous canines and premolars present
OU-conjunctivitis with severe blepharospam and seromucoid crusting discharge
serous nasal discharge, sneezing
AU-mild waxy discharge
heart/lungs WNL
soft, doughy abdomen
LH-intermittently non weight bearing lameness; dec hip extension with discomfort and crepitus of acetabulum
anal/tail tone present
female
coat dirty
A
URI with conjunctivitis
LH lameness
P
already started on doxycycline, terramycin last night
force feed q4-6h until eating on her own
LRS 25 ml SQ SID x 3 days
rads of pelvis/LH
prognosis: fair to good pending rads
temp s/n waiver due to URI/underage/underweight
