**SAFE 08/17/16** MARSHA, A 12 YEAR GORGEOUS CALICO BUT APPARENTLY HER OWNERS DIDN’T THINK SO! MARSHA was DUMPED DUE TO, ” no time” which is obvious considering her laundry list of health concerns. THE only thing they medically took care of was her being SPAYED! She has dermatitis, some alopecia patches, nuclear sclerosis and some dental issues. Now, the former owner’s are making this the public’s problem to solve, by do easily dumping MARSHA at the unholy feet of the ACC! Please, offer to FOSTER OR ADOPT this sweet girl. She’s needs experience and no kids but for now this girl is all the “kid” that you need!

08/13/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Marsha was relaxed on her blanket at the back of the kennel. Reaction when softly spoken to: Marsha makes eye contact with the assessor and remains motionless. Reaction to cage door opening: Marsha lip licks and looks around at her surroundings. Reaction to touch: Marsha leans away as you extend your hand to make contact and flinches when touched. She closes her eyes and slowly leans in allowing cheek rubs and will whip around and low growl when touched along her body. Her body is tense/ stiff and she allows limited handling. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Marsha tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his or her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
