If yes, Please elaborate: Maron defecates and urinates outside of his litter box every other day, for over a year. Maron house soiling will go away for a while then later returns. He was taking to the vet almost a 1 year ago and they stated that he was healthy.
Basic Information: Maron is a 5 year old altered male DSH. He was adopted form ACC 5 year ago and is being surrendered due to him having issues with house soiling.

How is this cat around strangers? Around strangers Maron is friendly, relaxed and allows soft pets on his body and head.
How is this cat around children?. Around children Maron of ages 8 and 11, with the children he is relaxed and gentle.
How is this cat around other cats? Maron has never been around other cats
How is this cat around dogs? Maron has never been around dogs
Behavior Notes: Maron enjoys being brushed, Held and isn’t bothered with being placed in the carrier that family has never trimmed his nails, or given him a bath.
Bite history: Maron has no bite history.
Energy level/descriptors: Medium activity level
Has this cat ever had any medical issues? No
Medical Notes: He has no known health issues or injures and has no recent vet history.
For a New Family to Know: Maron is described as friendly, mellow and quit with a medium activity level. He likes being in the same home as his family and likes playing with catnip toys and string. Maron is free feed dry food only and has been litter box trained but still has accidents. He uses and hooded box with clumping litter, and has never has a scratching post.
Behavior Notes: Upon intake Maron was calm and allowed the counselor to collar him and take his photo.
