U/G: FS, spay scar seen
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, no masses noted, mutliple small scabs at ventral neck and throughout body, no fleas seen
CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities

Gave convenia injection 0.45 mls SQ (x)
advantage was applied 8/23/17
recommend dental with pre-anesthetic bloodwork
Marla was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home.
Cage Condition: Cage is neat
Reaction to assessor: Marla is sitting in front of her kennel and turns to face assessor.
Reaction when softly spoken to: Marla begins walking back and forth in front of the kennel door. She rubs her body along the door.
Reaction to cage door opening: Marla lays down in front of the kennel door and appears relaxed.
Reaction to touch: Marla sniffs the assessors hand and at first, backs away from being pet. Marla sits up but stays in the front of her kennel. Marla allows her body to be pet and after a few moments she begins to lean in for chin rubs. She goes to the other side of her kennel and comes back to solicit attention. Marla’s tail is erect and she leans into the assessors hand as she lays down to be pet.
Reaction to being picked up: Marla allows to be picked up. Her body is tense and she jumps back into her kennel.
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderate

BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Average
Marla interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
