I came in the shelter as a OWNER SUR on 10/30/2016 from NY 10312, owner surrender reason stated was TOO MANY P. I came in with Group/Litter #K16-079015.

10/30/16 13:17 Animal was at the back of the carrier, body stiff. When I approach carrier, Mark started to hiss and lip lick. I was able to scan for a mc and take a picture without any issues.

Mark came to the shelter surrendered by an owner with a limited profile. Upon intake, Mark was hissing. Reaction to assessor: Mark is hiding in his den upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Mark hisses a few times. Reaction to cage door opening: Mark begins to growl loudly. Reaction to touch: Mark does not allow this type of handling. Placement Determination: New Hope Only Mark does not approach the assessor, displays fractious behavior, and does not allow handling. Mark is exhibiting behavior suited to rescue partners.
