Marbles was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. He was calm and relaxed upon intake and allows the counselors to pick him up and hold him. He was also very easy to handle during his initial medical exam.
Reaction to assessor: Marbles was calm, relaxed, and friendly by the front. He purrs as you get closer to him.
Reaction when softly spoken to: Marbles reaches out with his paws to solicit attention.
Reaction to cage door opening: Marbles remains soft and relaxed.
Reaction to touch: Marbles head-butts, starts to purr louder, and leans on the assessor.
Reaction to pick up: Marbles remains soft and nuzzles into the assessor’s arms.
Placement Determination: Beginner
Marbles interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
