ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: FS, spay scar noted on shaving ventrum
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat, overweight
CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities

Maggie was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home.

Growling during PE and tried to bite during oral exam.

Lying in litter box with a tense body. She allows petting along her head and body while raising her butt and tail into the air. Comes forward for more petting and then steps through her portal. Begins kneading in the back of the kennel and comes forward for further petting. Timid and sweet, adorable ginger girl. Doing well!
EVALUATION:
Cage Condition: Cage is neat
Reaction to assessor: Maggie was lying down and relaxed underneath her kuranda bed.
Reaction when softly spoken to: Maggie comes forward to greet, then reaches out with soft paws towards the assessor.
Reaction to cage door opening: Maggie is calm and relaxed.
Reaction to touch: Maggie nuzzles up against the assessor for attention, purrs loudly and allows petting all over her body.
Reaction to being picked up: Maggie is calm, relaxed and has a soft body when held.
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Lively
VOCAL: Quiet
CHARACTER TYPE: Affectionate, Sweet, Easy going
BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Beginner
