Maggie was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home.
MEDICAL BEHAVIOR:
Allowed whole exam and shaving, tolerated well

Cage Condition: Cage is neat
Reaction to assessor: Maggie was crouched in the back of the kennel and lip licked when the assessor made eye contact.
Reaction when softly spoken to: Maggie slowly looks around and scans her surroundings.
Reaction to cage door opening: Maggie is alert.
Reaction to touch: Maggie leans away and seems hesitant at first but slowly warms up to touch. Her body perks up when pet, her tail rises and she appreciates attention. She builds up confidence and slowly comes towards the front to solicit attention.
Reaction to being picked up: Maggie was a bit tense when picked up, but she allows all handling.
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderate
