She also has stomatitis, and a bartonella infection – along with some conjunctivitis. She is being treated but needs a home asap!! Only 4 years old and docile – allows all handling! 06/07/17 13:15 Macie A1114534 is a 10yr old female white & brown tabby DSH feline who was found near the finder’s home in the Bronx late last night, they felt bad for Macie due to her appearing sick and having a wound to her neck. The client stated she’s friendly, was well behaved and allowed them to pick her up and carry her to be brought into our BXAC location. During intake Macie was very sweet. She allowed all handling; Macie allowed to be scanned (-) and taken pictures of. She was picked up/held (which she didn’t seem to mind at all & was placed into her kennel with ease. Macie’s collar wasn’t placed due to the wound to her neck.

Continued to lay in place, allowed all pets. After a bit, stood and began to explore cage. Came to the front after door closed, sniffed assess-a-hand and started rubbing against the bars. EVALUATION: Cage Condition: No change Reaction to assessor: Macie immediately comes soliciting at the front of the cage. Reaction to door opening: Macie remains standing at the front of the cage, relaxed body posture, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch: Macie head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to being picked up: Allows the pickup and remains calm. BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Beginner Macie interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
