Our enrichment facilitator has interacted with Lyrics and at the time he was relaxed. Lyrics sniffs hand and leans in for attention. He raises rear when pet and rolls over on side. Reaction to assessor: Lyrics does not come to front but looks at you calm and relaxed When spoken quietly: Lyrics does not come to front but looks at you calm and relaxed Reaction to door cage opening: Lyrics remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: Lyrics allows petting and attention Try picking cat up: Lyrics is tolerant of this type of handling. Behavior Determination: Average Lyrics was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying calm behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Lyrics is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
