SAFE 7/29/17 Meet Lovely Calico Princess and Adorable Kitten Lupe! @BACC. These gorgeous kitties are being surrendered as deferred intakes, or diverted intakes if rescue is willing to work directly with owner.

Profile::
Basic: Lupe is a 4 month old female domestic short hair. She was born in her owners home and she is being surrendered because her owner has not time. She has not had any injuries or illnesses and has never been to the vet.
Socialization: Around strangers Lupe is shy for a few minutes. She has spent time around children ages 10 and up and is tolerant and sometimes fearful of them. She plays gently with adults and children and is relaxed and affectionate with other cats. She has lived with other cats her own age and with her mother. She plays gently with other cats. She has not spent time with dogs. She lives with a bird and will fixate on him. She does not have a bite history.
Behavior: Lupe is generally well behaved but sometimes will scratch on the furniture. She meows during car rides. She does not have any issues with the litterbox. She isnt bothered when she gets a bath. She has never had a nail trim, or been brushed. She isnt bothered when she is picked up and held, or when placed in a carrier, or disturbed while resting.
For New Family: Lupe is friendly, shy, quiet and independent. Her activity level is medium. Her owners like how gentle she is. She will follow her owner around the house and will also be in the same room. She likes to play with balls and string. She has been kept indoors only and sleeps in the living room or anywhere in the house. She likes both wet and dry food. She uses an uncovered litterbox with crystal litter. She scratches on the furniture or drapes and does not have a scrathing post.
The counselor met this cat and was able to handle the cat and saw no visible injuries.
