10/13/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
10/13/16 16:47 BEHAVIOR DURING INTAKE: Luna came into the shelter as a stray with her two finders. She had been found outside of a park in Manhattan and they had been able to call her over and bring her back to their place. She has been in their care for the past two days during which she quickly made herself at home. They had given her a bath and she had sat still through the entire process. Her favorite sleeping spot had been on their bed, snuggled up by their side. Her finder’s only had positive things to say about her. They described her as the most affectionate cat, and mentioned her non-stop kneading when she was in thier laps. Luna allowed the counselor to pick her up and appeared to be more interested in being held and not being in the carrier. Throughout her intake she was headbutting and meowing. She arched her back and rubbed her head on the counselor as she was being pet. She seemed very interested in the food the counselor was opening. She ate all the food that was given to her and walked back into the carrier. Once in the carrier she began meowing and would only stop meowing when the counselor would approach.
