For a New Family to Know
Luna is described as friendly, mellow, shy around new people and independent. She has a low activity level and prefers to lounge around the home rather than play with any toys. In the home, she liked to follow the owner around from room to room. Luna was kept indoors only and is partially litter box trained. As per owner, she was defecating outside of the litter box over the last 5 years and has recently began to urinate outside of the litter box as well. Owner tried switching different litters, getting a new litter box and moving the litter box to a different location but nothing helped. Luna was fed wet food only Royal Canin Select protein rabbit based food. Luna used an uncovered litter box with clumping litter in the home. Owner had 2 scratching posts made of rough rope and cardboard in the home that Luna used frequently.
Behavior Notes:
Behavior during intake: Luna had a soft and relaxed body during intake. Counselor was able to scan for a microchip, collar and take a picture without any issues. Luna was leaning in to petting.
